Position Summary
Provide senior joint target intelligence supporting USCYBERCOM staffs, subordinate commands, and components through target-system analysis, target development, target-list management, and combat assessment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct target-system analysis, joint target development, target-list management, combat assessment, and intelligence support to dynamic targeting in accordance with applicable joint publications and instructions.
- Produce target-system analyses, electronic target folders, target graphics, and battle damage assessments.
- Coordinate joint target intelligence across command components, Combatant Commands, the Joint Staff, the Military Targeting Committee, and Intelligence Community partners.
- Submit all-source intelligence production requirements, requests for information, and intelligence report evaluations; recommend joint target intelligence policy improvements.
- Use intelligence automation tools including National Production Workshop, MARS, MAVEN, WARPATH, JCC2, and JTT-CP.
- Apply ODNI and DIA analytic tradecraft standards, including ICD 203, 206, 208, and 209.
- Develop training materials and provide on-the-job training; support enterprise standardization, exercise coordination, and readiness.
- Prepare and coordinate staff packages, respond to intelligence requests, and provide subject-matter expertise in operational planning meetings, working groups, and targeting boards.
Required Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of the assigned intelligence mission and mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methods.
- Ability to conduct rigorous research, evaluate multiple information sources, defend analytic judgments, and revise assessments when new evidence emerges.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight, collaborate across the Intelligence Community, and communicate complex findings clearly in written products and briefings.
- Ability to review analytic products for sound arguments, tradecraft standards, and supported conclusions; knowledge of IC and DoD classification guidelines and procedures.
- Knowledge of joint targeting processes and applicable guidance, including Joint Publications 3-60 and 3-12.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior training and experience in the DIA Mission Management career field, Joint Target Intelligence specialty, or relevant military targeting experience.
Required Education and Experience Equivalency
- Related master's degree from an institution accredited by a U.S. Department of Education-recognized agency with at least 12 years of experience related to the labor category, with some experience within the last two years.
- Alternatively, a related bachelor's degree with at least 17 total years of experience related to the labor category, including five additional years of related senior experience in substitution for the master's degree, with some experience within the last two years.
