Role Descriptions:
· Minimum 4+ years experience in Configuration/integration and Guidewire Implementations in Policy Center
· 5+ years of experience in Java/J2ee (EJB, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Web Services, JMS, JPA).
· Able to configure/Integrate the applications using XML and GOSU
· Insurance Knowledge specifically Personal Lines Claims and Commercial Claims
· Relational Database and Data Modeling experience
· Cloud certified(atleast Associate certification)
· Strong Java server-side programming experience with a solid understanding of object-oriented concepts
· Experience with Scrum or other Agile development methodologies
· Experience with messaging, Webservices and database connectivity
· Strong oral and written communication skills
The primary functions of this role consist of:
· Responsible for designing and implementing Configuration/integration points between external applications/services and the Guidewire® platforms
· Partner with client business teams to understand business objectives and configuration/integration requirements
· Produce technical design documents for configuration/integration points
· Develop custom configuration/integration points to connect Guidewire applications with other internal and external systems
