Guidewire BC Integration Developer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilledGuidewire BillingCenter Integration Developer to join our enterprise insurance transformation program. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise inGuidewire BillingCenter, focusing onintegration design, development, and implementation using Guidewire APIs, messaging, and plugins. This role requires hands-on experience working withGosu,web services, andmiddleware technologies to build robust and scalable integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implementintegration solutions betweenGuidewire BillingCenter and external/internal systems (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, payment gateways, financial systems, etc.).

• Configure and customizeGuidewire Messaging, Event Framework, and Integration Plugins (SOAP, REST, JMS, etc.).

• Develop and maintainGosu classes, web service clients, batch processes, and integration components.

• Collaborate with business analysts and solution architects toanalyze integration requirements and translate them into technical design specifications.

• Implementreal-time and batch integrations, ensuring scalability and data consistency.

• Work closely withBilling, Payments, and Invoicing modules to support end-to-end financial transactions.

• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize integration performance across environments.

• Develop and maintainintegration documentation, technical mapping, and API specifications.

• Collaborate withQA and DevOps teams to ensure smooth build, deployment, and testing processes.

• Participate incode reviews, design walkthroughs, and production support for integration components.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5–8 years of total IT experience with3+ years in Guidewire BillingCenter (Integration & Configuration).

• Strong hands-on experience inGuidewire Integration Architecture, includingMessaging, Plugins, and Web Services (SOAP/REST).

• Proficiency inGosu programming,XML,JSON, andXSD.

• Experience withGuidewire Financial Transactions, Payments, and Invoicing modules.

• Strong understanding ofGuidewire Batch Processing, Event Messaging, and Workflow Engine.

• Hands-on experience inmiddleware and integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Kafka, IBM MQ, or similar).

• Familiarity withGuidewire Application Server architecture (Tomcat, WebSphere, or WebLogic) anddatabase technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).

• Experience withAgile/Scrum methodology andDevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, JIRA).

• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have:

• Guidewire BillingCenter Integration Certification orGuidewire Certified Developer.

• Experience withGuidewire Cloud andAPI Gateway integrations.

• Exposure toCI/CD pipelines andcontainerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

• Understanding ofinsurance billing workflows such as direct bill, agency bill, and installment plans.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
