Position summary:Â
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Consultant to support the enterprise network infrastructure of our global clients in a 24x7 operational environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing corporate network environments, both on-premises and cloud-based, and will be responsible for resolving complex technical issues, driving infrastructure improvements, and supporting critical network operations.Â
Note:
This position is specifically designed for professionals with a background in corporate or enterprise networking. Candidates whose experiences are primarily in ISP NOC operations, telecom core infrastructure, customer provisioning, desktop support, field support (across ISP, telecom, or banking sectors), or Level 1 monitoring roles are therefore discouraged from applying.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support enterprise-grade network infrastructure, including hybrid cloud environments (AWS/Azure)Â
- Configure and troubleshoot network components including routers, switches, SD-WAN, firewalls, VPNs, wireless controllers, and load balancersÂ
- Manage cloud networking components such as VPCs, VNets, NSGs, subnets, and cloud gatewaysÂ
- Provide L2-level troubleshooting for complex network and infrastructure issuesÂ
- Independently perform L2-level activities for infrastructure upgrades, hardware refreshes, patchingÂ
- Execute network changes following ITIL-based incident and change management practicesÂ
- Participate in major incident management (P1/P2) and support on-call rotationsÂ
- Ensure compliance with security and audit standards; participate in infra-auditsÂ
- Collaborate with vendors for issue resolution and escalationsÂ
- Mentor L1 team, support knowledge sharing, and drive operational excellence in shift-based supportÂ
- Contribute to internal documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base updatesÂ
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Total Experience: 4 to 7 yearsÂ
- Relevant Network Experience (Enterprise/Corporate): 4 to 6 yearsÂ
- Proven hands-on L2-level experience with enterprise networking technologies (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, AWS, Azure, etc.)Â
- Familiarity with network security best practices and configurationsÂ
- Ability to work in 24x7 shift operations, including night/weekend rotationsÂ
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIS, Fortinet NSE, or equivalentÂ
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in computer science/IT/Electronics Engineering, M.C.A. or equivalent University degreeÂ
- Exposure to infra-audits, compliance processes, and security controlsÂ
- Strong documentation, verbal and written communication skillsÂ
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsÂ
