Job Description:
The Operations Supervisor assists in leading, directing and managing all hotel operations including, but not limited to, hotel budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, implementing and complying with all company policies and brand standards, overseeing sales and marketing initiatives, and responding to guests’ inquiries and concerns. The person in this position must be able to roll their sleeves up and assist our teams when needed, living our “ONE TEAM. ONE VISION.” philosophy. This person must also provide innovative ways that align with our mission to be the best, most respected hotel company in America.Â

- Complete all required brand specific trainingÂ
- Complete all required Vision University trainingÂ
- Complete all required health and safety trainingÂ
- Adhere to all Vision Hospitality Group and property specific brand standardsÂ
- Perform any other duties as requested by management to aid in better operation of the hotel and service to the guestsÂ
- Provide personalized, friendly service to every guest and associateÂ
- Balance the day’s business in an accurate and orderly and timely fashionÂ
- Verify accuracy of cashier’s deposits and prepares a daily bank depositÂ
- Perform administrative and clerical duties as neededÂ
- Is responsible for personnel reports and filesÂ
- Ensure proper “new hire” procedures are followed as directed by Vision Hospitality Group, Inc.Â
- Verify accuracy of cash on hand, including safe and petty cash. Log any discrepancies on a daily basisÂ
- Has knowledge of M3 accounting systemÂ
- Prepare “daily reports” and transmit them to Vision Hospitality Group via accounting systems
- Maintain Accounts ReceivableÂ
- Prepare all Accounts Payable for payment by home office using accounting system on a weekly basisÂ
- Prepare payroll bi-weekly and transmit to corporate officeÂ
- Distribute paychecks to associatesÂ
- Have complete knowledge of all hotel systems including phone PBX system, key system, PMS systemsÂ
- Prepares all necessary month-end statistical reports as needed by Vision Hospitality GroupÂ
Necessary Skills:
- Keep confidential the business functions of the company including, but not limited to, financial status, customer/guest information, associate issues, etc.Â
- Must be responsible for safety and security of guests, fellow associates and hotel assetsÂ
- Have knowledge of fire alarm system and evacuation proceduresÂ
- Have dependable transportation availableÂ
- Able to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and in personÂ
- Able to work a flexible schedule. We are a 24/7 business which may require work availability of nights, weekends, and holidaysÂ
- Is organized, honest, work well with others, and have an outgoing personalityÂ
- Maintain a clean and attractive work area, uniform, and personÂ
- Has the highest degree of integrity and is humble, living by the Golden Rule
- Able to work with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds

- Be able to bend, reach, kneel, push, and stretch and lift and/or carry up to 25 poundsÂ
- Can stand/walk on feet for 8 hours and work in a restrictive space/environmentÂ
- Must have eyesight enabling vision both near and farÂ
- Must be comfortable using a step stool or ladderÂ
- Must be able to use/lift arms for up to 8 hoursÂ
- Must be able to handle heat and stressÂ
- Have finger dexterity for operating equipmentÂ
- Must speak in a clear, understandable voice, hear at a basic level, understand English, and be able to write. Â
