Position Overview:

We are seeking a Child Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner / Hybrid / Bilingual Spanish to provide specialized mental health services to patients aged 6 and aboveĀ in a multi-specialty practice in the Bronx, NY.Ā This hybrid position offers the flexibility of remote work with only one on-site day per week. Bilingual in Spanish candidates are required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide psychological assessment and therapy to children aged 6 or above
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans
  • Maintain active Medicaid provider status
  • Collaborate with team members
  • Provide culturally competent care to diverse populations
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records
  • Education:Ā Master of Science in Nursing or higher from an accredited PMHNP program
  • Licensure:Ā Active New York State PMHNP License
  • Experience:Ā Minimum 2 years of experience with children aged 6 and above
  • Requirements:Ā Must have an active Medicaid.
  • Language:Ā Bilingual Spanish (mandatory)
  • Technical Skills:Ā Child psychiatric assessment, medication management, therapy modalities
  • Soft Skills:Ā Cultural competence, empathy, strong communication with children and families
