Senior Quality Engineer

We're looking for aSenior Quality Engineer to help build our Quality Engineering capability.

This isnot a traditional manual testing role. You'll be responsible for defining our testing strategy, building scalable automation frameworks, introducing quality gates, and enabling development teams to deliver high-quality software.

We currently have offices in Berlin, Paris, San Francisco, and Singapore, with production headquarters in Budapest.

• Define and drive the Quality Engineering strategy.

• Design, create and maintain reusable test automation frameworks.

• Establish testing standards and best practices.

• Introduce and improve CI/CD quality gates.

• Build E2E, integration and API testing capabilities.

• Mentor developers on automated testing.

• Review testing approaches and promote quality ownership across Engineering.

• Perform exploratory and regression testing where automation is not yet available.

• Strong software engineering background.

• Experience building test automation frameworks.

• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or similar.

• Experience with any static code analyzer tool.

  Experience testing REST APIs and modern web applications.

• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong understanding of software architecture and testability.

• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and drive technical initiatives.

• Hands-on knowledge in: TypeScript, NodeJS, React, .NET

• GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.

• Performance, security or contract testing.

• Docker and containerized testing.

• Experience introducing Quality Engineering practices within engineering organizations.
