Role Overview

Our client is supporting a technology-driven project focused on improving how advanced AI systems understand, analyse, and generate legal content.

We are looking for an experiencedUS-qualified Lawyer to research legal issues, review AI-generated materials, and produce clear, accurate legal content across a range of US law topics. The work may include memoranda, opinions, contracts, legal analyses, and quality review against defined standards. Previous AI experience is not required.

CONTRACT: Freelance contractor, project-based

COMMITMENT: Flexible, based on project workload

LOCATIONS: Fully remote, United States

PROCESS: Application review, legal expertise assessment (AI-led), onboarding

HOURLY RATE:$140 - $245/h

Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research across a range of US law topics.
  • Analyse complex legal issues and provide well-supported conclusions.
  • Draft and edit memoranda, opinions, contracts, and other legal content.
  • Review AI-generated legal outputs for accuracy, clarity, and completeness.
  • Identify errors, inconsistencies, unsupported conclusions, and ambiguous language.
  • Provide structured feedback based on legal standards and project guidelines.
  • Support quality assurance across legal documents and evaluation tasks.
  • Collaborate remotely with legal, technical, and project stakeholders.
  • Active licence to practise law in at least one US jurisdiction.
  • Professional experience in legal research, analysis, and drafting.
  • Current or previous experience at a recognised US law firm.
  • Experience reviewing legal documents for accuracy and quality.
