Role Overview

We’re looking for aBackend Developer to join the growing engineering team. You’ll help design, develop, and optimize theserver-side logic and APIs powering next-generation inspection software that integrates 3D modeling, video processing, and AI-based defect detection.

You’ll collaborate closely with frontend, data, and robotics engineers to ensure smooth system integration, scalability, and reliability.

Locations: The role is 100% remote, but the candidate location that is preferred is Egypt or Morocco.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend logic and databases for web applications
• Design and integrate scalable APIs for data ingestion and processing
• Contribute to CI/CD automation and deployment pipelines (AWS ECS, Lambda, S3)
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
• Participate in architecture design, code reviews, and product decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, cloud, robotics, AI)

Interview process:

The interview process includes three stages: an HR interview, a technical interview, and a final meeting with the Head of Practice.

• Strong knowledge ofASP.NET Core,Entity Framework Core, andC#/.NET (7+ years of experience)
• Experience withPython for backend or data-oriented tasks
• Hands-on experience withAWS (ECS, Lambda, S3)
• Solid understanding ofCI/CD pipelines, Docker, GitHub, and automation workflows
• Familiarity with development tools such asVisual Studio Code andDocker
• Strong problem-solving mindset and collaborative attitude
• Fluent in English

Nice to Have:

• Experience invideo processing, 3D modeling, geospatial data, or photogrammetry
• Experience withABP or microservices templates
• Exposure tomachine learning libraries or data pipelines
