About the Role

Our client is a leading industrial technology and engineering organization specializing in warehouse automation, logistics optimization, and digital supply chain solutions. Their teams design, deploy, and support software platforms that control and optimize complex warehouse operations for customers across multiple industries.

We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to help maintain and supportWarehouse Control Systems (WCS) deployed in production environments. This role combines technical support, troubleshooting, incident management, software maintenance, and customer interaction. The ideal candidate enjoys solving technical issues, working directly with users, and ensuring mission-critical logistics systems operate reliably.

CONTRACT: Permanent (CDI)

LOCATION: Oullins/Lyon area, France (Hybrid)

PROCESS: 3 client interviews

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for customers requiringapplication support
  • Manage support tickets and ensure compliance withSLA commitments
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve software and system incidents
  • Performremote troubleshooting and technical interventions
  • Implement corrective actions and temporary workarounds when needed
  • Collaborate with development and technical teams on complex issues
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents and resolutions
  • Coordinate on-site interventions when remote support is insufficient
  • Perform preventive maintenance and system audits at customer locations
  • Contribute to improving technical documentation and knowledge bases
  • 3+ years of experience inapplication support, software maintenance, or technical support roles
  • Strong knowledge ofSQL and relational databases
  • Experience withC#,C++, or object-oriented programming environments
  • Experience troubleshooting software applications in production environments
  • Understanding of Windows-based application ecosystems
  • Ability to analyze incidents and identify root causes
  • Fluent French (written and spoken)
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
