Remote LPC Therapist | Full-Time Licensed Professional Counselor Opportunity

Job Summary

ThisRemote Licensed Professional Counselor role is designed for a clinician who wants to provide reliable therapy support in a telehealth setting. Clients may come to therapy for help with anxiety, depression, emotional stress, work-life strain, grief, relationship concerns, or major life changes. Your role is to provide a safe clinical space, assess needs, guide treatment, and help clients make realistic progress over time.

You will work remotely while managing scheduled sessions, treatment plans, progress notes, and clinical follow-up. The position offers a professional structure for LPCs who want full-time work without an in-office setting.

Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Provide virtual therapy sessions for clients using approved telehealth technology
  • Review each client’s presenting concerns, background, and therapy goals
  • Prepare individualized treatment plans and update them as care progresses
  • Use clinically appropriate counseling approaches to support emotional and behavioral health
  • Document therapy sessions, assessments, progress updates, and care recommendations
  • Recognize when clients need crisis support, referrals, or a higher level of care
  • Maintain professional communication with clients and internal clinical contacts
  • Protect client privacy and follow HIPAA and Connecticut licensing standards
  • Stay current with professional practice expectations and required continuing education
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
  • Active ConnecticutLicensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in good standing
  • Experience providing therapy to adults, couples, families, or diverse client populations preferred
  • Strong understanding of clinical assessment, treatment planning, and progress notes
  • Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems
  • Able to work independently while maintaining strong clinical judgment
  • Telehealth experience or additional training in CBT, trauma-informed care, DBT, or related areas is a plus
