A healthcare recruitment partner is seeking a licensedMental Health Counselor LMHC for a full-time telehealth role supporting clients throughout Florida.

Compensation: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Summary

This position gives an experienced LMHC the opportunity to provide remote therapy in a professional, well-organized setting. The day-to-day work includes virtual counseling sessions, clinical assessments, treatment planning, progress documentation, and ongoing support for clients working through mental health and emotional challenges.

The role is best suited for a counselor who can balance strong clinical care with reliable documentation, clear communication, and thoughtful follow-through. You will work with clients through a secure telehealth platform and provide care that is practical, ethical, and aligned with each client’s treatment goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide telehealth counseling services to clients located in Florida
• Complete new client intakes and gather relevant clinical information
• Assess symptoms, functioning, risk factors, and treatment needs
• Prepare individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
• Deliver therapy sessions using appropriate clinical methods and interventions
• Keep records organized, accurate, and completed on time
• Review client progress and revise treatment plans as needed
• Follow safety protocols for clients experiencing crisis or elevated risk
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, professional ethics, and state licensing standards

• Active and unrestrictedFlorida LMHC license in good standing
• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
• Experience providing therapy to adults, adolescents, couples, or families preferred
• Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records
• Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and professional communication
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting
• Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for client sessions

• $115,000–$120,000 annual salary
