About the Role:

The corporate finance manager is responsible for providing financial and commercial leadership underpinning CDC's growth strategy. The role plays a significant role in assessing and executing new data centre developments, expansion into new markets and strategic growth initiatives. This role provides critical commercial insights and financial analysis that supports capital allocation, investment decisions and long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead investment analysis and business case development for new data centre developments, expansions, and major capital projects, providing financial modelling, feasibility assessments, and recommendations to support investment decisions.
• Drive strategic growth initiatives by evaluating mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, market expansion opportunities, and strategic partnerships through detailed financial analysis and commercial insights.
• Own and maintain the corporate financial model, assessing business performance, growth opportunities, funding requirements, risks, and value drivers to support executive, Board, and shareholder decision-making.
• Provide commercial and analytical support for customer contracting, energy infrastructure strategies, and major commercial negotiations, helping optimise business outcomes and shareholder value.
• Support capital allocation and funding activities by partnering with Treasury to analyse cash flow, capital expenditure, financing requirements, and debt raising opportunities to ensure sustainable growth and capital management.

About You:

Experience:

• 6-10 Years working in investment banking/M&A, funds management, corporate development/strategy, or corporate advisory
• Experience within the infrastructure or energy sectors is highly beneficial.
• Strong ability to develop, review and analyse fully integrated three-way financial models, with a deep understanding of the relationships between the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement.
• Demonstrated experience of independently leading workstreams, managing stakeholders, and implementing commercial judgement in decision making.
• Deeply curious, with a genuine desire to develop a deep understanding of CDC's business, with the ability to translate complex data and ambiguity into meaningful commercial insights.

Essential: Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance.
