Position SummaryÂ
The Director, HCP Marketing will lead U.S. HCP strategy in myelofibrosis, driving education, trial, and sustained adoption to establish and reinforce a differentiated position in a competitive oncology landscape.Â
This role owns end-to-end HCP engagement—from insight generation through execution and optimization—leveraging data, omnichannel orchestration, and cross-functional leadership to deliver measurable business impact. The Director will play a key role in shaping the evolving treatment landscape by translating clinical and real-world evidence into compelling value propositions and customer experiences.Â
You will partner closely with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Sales, Global Marketing, and Insights & Analytics to ensure alignment across strategy and execution.Â
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
HCP Strategy & Brand LeadershipÂ
• Own and evolve the U.S. HCP marketing strategy and integrated tactical plan across the myelofibrosis treatment journeyÂ
• Define differentiated HCP value propositions grounded in clinical data, real-world evidence, and competitive insightsÂ
• Drive lifecycle strategy to deliver both near-term performance and long-term asset value creation, including future indications and competitive positioningÂ
Omnichannel Customer Engagement & InnovationÂ
• Design and execute integrated omnichannel HCP strategies across digital, personal, and peer-to-peer channelsÂ
• Develop advanced segmentation, targeting, and personalization frameworks to optimize engagementÂ
• Champion innovation in customer experience, including automation, next-best-action approaches, and data-driven orchestrationÂ
• Translate insights (claims, EHR, market research, and field feedback) into actionable commercial strategiesÂ
Cross-Functional & Enterprise LeadershipÂ
• Lead cross-functional planning and execution across Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Global teamsÂ
• Influence senior stakeholders through clear, insight-driven storytelling and recommendationsÂ
• Ensure alignment across promotional, medical, and access strategies to deliver a unified external experienceÂ
• Operate effectively within a matrix environment, demonstrating enterprise leadership and influencing without authorityÂ
External Engagement & Thought LeadershipÂ
• Represent the brand at key oncology congresses and external forums, gathering insights and reinforcing GSK’s leadershipÂ
• Engage with key external experts to inform strategy and strengthen scientific credibilityÂ
Agency Leadership, Budget & GovernanceÂ
• Lead agency partners across strategy, creative development, digital execution, and media planningÂ
• Ensure all activities meet regulatory, legal, and compliance standardsÂ
Leadership & Capability BuildingÂ
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvementÂ
• Recruit, retain and develop talent within the organizationÂ
Basic QualificationsÂ
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, marketing, or related fieldÂ
- 10+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech experienceÂ
- Proven success in US brand marketing, including commercialization Â
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing agency partnersÂ
Preferred QualificationsÂ
- Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MS)Â
- Pharmaceutical SalesÂ
- Global experience
- Strong experience leveraging real-world evidence, analytics, and market insightsÂ
- Demonstrated success designing integrated omnichannel HCP engagement strategiesÂ
- Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders in a matrix organizationÂ
