The Schools Team Coordinator is responsible for delivering prevention and early intervention services within partnering school districts. This role includes coordinating district-based strategic plans, providing educational programming and consultation, facilitating referrals, supporting students through classroom presentations, group education, and individual skill-building services, and maintainingdocumentationandoutcomereportingrequiredbyfundingsources.Thepositioncollaboratescloselywithschoolpersonnel,communitypartners,andagencyleadershiptoensurethedeliveryofhigh-qualityservicesthatpromotestudentwellnessandreducehigh-riskbehaviors.

KeyResponsibilities:
·Developandimplementannualstrategicplanswithpartneringschooldistrictstoaddressidentifiedpreventionandinterventionneeds.
·Deliverengagingclassroompresentations,smallgroupeducationsessions,andindividualskill-buildingservicesthatpromotehealthydecision-making,emotionalwellness,socialskills,andresilience.
·Collaboratewithschoolpersonneltoidentifystudentsdisplayingat-riskbehaviorsandfacilitateappropriateinterventionsandreferrals.
·Providetraining,consultation,education,andsupportrelatedtoTeamofConcernuniversalandtargetedinterventions.
·Coordinateandsupporttheon-sitedeliveryofschool-basedpreventionandearlyinterventionservices.
·Buildandmaintainpositiverelationshipswithstudents,families,schoolstaff,communitypartners,andagencystakeholders.
·Completeassessments,consentforms,intakes,servicedocumentation,andoutcomereportinginaccordancewithagencyandfundingrequirements.
·Protectstudentandfamilyconfidentialitywhileadheringtoagencypoliciesandprocedures.
·Participateinclinicalstaffing,teammeetings,qualityimprovementinitiatives,andimplementationofprogramrecommendations.
·Provideoutcomedataandprogramdocumentationtoleadership,grantmanagementstaff,fundingsources,andcommunitypartnersasrequired.
·Representtheorganizationthroughcommunitypresentations,outreachactivities,networkingopportunities,andspecialevents.
·Promoteeffectivecommunicationandcollaborationbetweenschooldistrictsandagencyprograms.
·Supportorganizationalgoalsandinitiativeswhileperformingotherdutiesasassigned.
Education,Experience,and/orCredentialQualifications:
·Master'sDegreefromanaccreditedcollegeoruniversityinSocialWork,Counseling,CriminalJustice,Psychology,HumanServices,orarelatedfield;
OR
·Bachelor'sDegreefromanaccreditedcollegeoruniversityinSocialWork,Counseling,PublicHealth,CriminalJustice,Psychology,HumanServices,orarelatedfieldandatleastone(1)yearofprofessionalexperienceinasocialserviceagency.
·Minimumoftwo(2)yearsofexperienceprovidingalcohol,tobacco,andotherdrugpreventionprogrammingforyouth.
·Atleastone(1)yearofexperienceservingasasitecoordinatororinapositionwithprimaryresponsibilityforday-to-daypreventionprogramimplementation.Thisexperiencemaybeincludedwithintherequiredtwoyearsofpreventionprogrammingexperience.
·Knowledgeofprevention,earlyintervention,andtreatmentapproachesforhigh-riskbehaviorsandsubstanceusedisorders.
·Knowledgeofclassroommanagementtechniquesandde-escalationstrategies.
·Proficiencywithelectronicmedicalrecordsanddocumentationsystems.
AdditionalQualifications:
·Currentdriver'slicense,acceptabledrivingrecord,andcurrentautoinsurancerequired.
·Abilitytobuildrapportandmaintaineffectiveworkingrelationshipsthroughstrongcommunicationskills.
·Abilitytoindependentlymanageresponsibilitieswhilecollaboratingeffectivelywithsupervisorsandteammembers.
·Abilitytoutilizeestablishedcurriculumtodevelopanddelivereffectivepreventionprogrammingrelatedtoat-riskbehaviors.
·Successfulcompletionofbackgroundscreening,includingcriminalrecord,drivingrecord,abuse/neglect,andfingerprintchecks.
PhysicalRequirements
·Performsedentaryworkinvolvingexertionofupto10poundsofforceoccasionallyandanegligibleamountofforcefrequentlytolift,carry,push,pull,orotherwisemoveobjects.
