- Supervise and coordinate piping installation, fabrication, erection, testing, and reinstatement activities at the project site.
- Manage piping foremen, pipe fitters, welders, helpers, and subcontractor manpower to ensure efficient execution of work.
- Monitor progress of piping works and ensure completion within approved project schedules.
- Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, HSE, planning, and other disciplines to resolve site-related issues and maintain smooth workflow.
- Ensure piping installation is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, welding procedures, and quality standards.
- Verify correct materials, pipe spools, valves, fittings, supports, and consumables are available before starting work.
- Supervise piping fabrication, fit-up, welding, alignment, installation of supports, and mechanical completion activities.
- Ensure proper execution of piping pressure testing, flushing, cleaning, drying, and reinstatement activities.
- Monitor welding activities and ensure compliance with approved WPS, PQR, and project welding requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE procedures, client safety requirements, and permit-to-work systems.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety briefings to ensure safe working practices.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain an organized and safe working environment.
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in piping construction activities.
- Strong knowledge of piping fabrication, erection, installation, and testing activities.
- Familiarity with ASME B31.3, API standards, welding procedures, and inspection requirements.
- Willingness to work in remote locations as required.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
- Effective communication skills.
