The role requires min 10 years of technology development experience with min 4 years in Mendix delivery management roles. This experience includes familiarity with software product development life cycles. Experience managing and delivering multiple projects at the same time is also required.

 

A bachelor of science degree in engineering, software engineering, science is required. A relevant master's degree will reduce experience requirements. With the advent of technical schools, certain types of technology courses may be required that are specific to the types of projects performed.

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, management information systems, or similar.
  • Extensive experience in Software delivery projects end to end.
  • Ability to run multifunctional teams (Development – Quality – Business Analysts – Technical writers etc..)
  • Advanced knowledge of integration techniques and protocols.
  • Familiar with Microservices architecture and cloud native environments
  • Ability to manage multinational teams, as well as hire and train new teams.
  • Understanding of how to efficiently distribute workloads and allocate resources.
  • People management skills is a must.
  • Excellent communication skills including presentations and technical writing in English.
  • Familiar with Architecture patterns and different deployments options.
  • Efforts sizing and estimations skills for all aspects in the software delivery projects are highly required.
  • Familiarity with hiring and training best practices.

Excellent, high-level people management skills combined with project management skills are required. Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills are necessary.
