Lead Testing & Commissioning Engineer

We have the expertise to carry out full EPC&M services for electrical and instrumentation works and bring our intrinsic knowledge to measure and automate exploration, production, separation, refining processes, and distribution through our localized services.

• Leadtesting & commissioning (T&C) activities for132 kV / 33 kV / 11 kV substations

• Review and approveT&C procedures, method statements, and checklists

• Coordinate withADNOC, consultants, OEMs, and contractors during commissioning phases

• Supervise testing of:

  • Power transformers

  • Lead and supervisetesting and commissioning activities for electrical systems inoffshore platforms and substations.
  • Plan and executepre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities for electrical equipment.
  • Perform testing and commissioning oftransformers, generators, switchgear, MCCs, UPS systems, and power distribution systems up to 1320 kVA.
  • Manage commissioning ofsubstation equipment including transformers, protection relays, switchgear, and control systems.
  • Prepare and reviewcommissioning procedures, method statements, and test reports.
  • Coordinate withengineering, construction, vendors, and client teams to ensure smooth commissioning activities.
  • Ensure compliance withproject specifications, safety standards, and client requirements.
  • Leadtroubleshooting and fault analysis during commissioning.
  • Monitor commissioning progress and ensure timely completion of activities.
  • Supervise commissioning engineers and technicians at site.

• achelor’s Degree inElectrical Engineering

• Minimum10–15 years experience inHV substations, including132 kV

• Proven experience working onADNOC or major Oil & Gas projects

• Strong knowledge ofIEC, IEEE, ADNOC standards

• Hands-on experience withprotection relays (Siemens, ABB, Schneider, GE, SEL)

• Excellent coordination, leadership, and communication skills

• Bachelor’s Degree inElectrical Engineering.
• Minimum 12–15 years of experience in Electrical Testing & Commissioning inOil & Gas / Substation projects.
• Mandatory offshore project experience.
• Strong experience insubstation commissioning and electrical systems up to 1320 kVA.
• Familiarity withinternational standards and safety regulations related to electrical testing and commissioning.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
