- Fabricate HVAC ductwork, fittings, and accessories as per approved shop drawings and fabrication details.
- Read and interpret HVAC fabrication drawings, duct layouts, and cutting schedules.
- Measure, mark, cut, bend, fold, notch, and assemble GI, stainless steel, and aluminum duct sheets using appropriate fabrication tools and machinery.
- Install duct stiffeners, flanges, cleats, corners, and reinforcement as specified in fabrication drawings.
- Operate fabrication equipment such as guillotine shears, press brakes, Pittsburgh lock machines, lock formers, notchers, rollers, grooving machines, and spot welding machines safely and efficiently.
- Ensure fabricated duct sections comply with approved dimensions, tolerances, and quality requirements.
- Inspect fabricated components for defects before dispatch to the installation team.
- Minimize material wastage by following approved cutting plans and fabrication procedures.
- Maintain fabrication tools, machines, and work areas in good operating condition.
- Coordinate with the HVAC Foreman regarding fabrication priorities and production schedules.
- Assist in loading, unloading, and proper storage of fabricated duct sections.
- Comply with company HSE policies and wear appropriate PPE during fabrication activities.
- ITI / Trade Certificate in Sheet Metal, Mechanical, HVAC, or an equivalent technical trade.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Duct Fabricator in HVAC projects.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, LNG, or Industrial EPC projects is preferred.
- Experience in fabrication of GI, stainless steel, and aluminum ductwork is highly desirable.
- Must be able to work in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions.
- Will be required to work on high platforms or confined spaces, adhering strictly to safety standards.
- May be required to work overtime or extended shifts based on project deadlines.
