Senior Software Engineer, Chennai

Join the team behind the Nielsen Consumer Panel Mobile App, a global platform that helps collect shopping and survey data from consumers across 20+ markets and serves 250K+ active users worldwide.

Responsibilities

What you'll lead

  • Cross-platform development using.NET MAUI
  • Native mobile experiences foriOS & Android
  • Features like Barcode Scanning, Surveys, Notifications, Localization, and Feedback Capture
  • Scalable, high-performing mobile solutions used globally

 

  • 8+ years of software development experience with strong expertise inC#, .NET, and .NET MAUI.
  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience building and supportingenterprise-grade iOS applications, with Android support.
  • Strong experience inMVVM architecture, Dependency Injection, asynchronous programming, and mobile design patterns.
  • Experience integrating REST APIs, authentication frameworks, and third-party SDKs.
  • Extensive experience withApp Store deployment, provisioning profiles, certificates, TestFlight, and release management.
  • Strong background inresponsive/adaptive mobile UI development across multiple screen sizes and device form factors.
  • Ability to convertFigma designs into pixel-perfect mobile applications.
  • Experience implementing and integrating:
    • Firebase Analytics
    • OneSignal Push Notifications
    • PostHog Analytics
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and memory management skills for iOS and Android.
  • Experience owning theend-to-end mobile application lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and production support.
  • Experience leading and mentoring a team ofat least 2 mobile developers.
  • Ability to drive technical design discussions andarchitect scalable mobile solutions.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and code review best practices
