Due to the continued growth of our Grid business, we are currently looking for our next Commissioning Lead (all genders) in the Construction & Commissioning function to support projects across Europe and Asia.

As a Commissioning Lead (all genders), you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing commissioning activities across large-scale international grid and energy projects.

You will lead commissioning activities with international teams throughout all project phases — from early concept and tender support through preparation, site execution, and project completion.

In this role, you will take ownership of commissioning within your assigned project scope and ensure that all activities are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in line with quality and contractual requirements.

The position requires international travel and site presence during execution phases. Projects may be located across Europe and Asia, and offshore fitness is required.

• Coordinate cost estimation and scheduling of commissioning activities across the project lifecycle.

• Define and implement subcontracting strategies in close collaboration with EHS, Quality, Planning, and Procurement.

• Prepare commissioning-related tender and proposal documentation to support project development and execution.

• Plan temporary and permanent site infrastructure and support projects from concept through to completion.

• Take full responsibility for commissioning activities within the assigned scope of the project.

• Lead and coordinate international commissioning teams across different project stages and locations.

• Plan resources and mobilization and monitor progress, cost, and schedule throughout project execution.

• Track and report commissioning progress as well as EHS performance in a structured and transparent manner.

• Ensure the timely availability of technical documentation together with the Engineering team.

• Prepare key commissioning documentation such as ITPs, test reports, and related quality records.

• Manage quality, risks, and compliance in accordance with contractual requirements and internal standards.

You will play a key role in enabling the successful delivery of critical energy infrastructure projects and contribute directly to the energy transition.

You will help ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient commissioning execution across substations, power generation, and transmission & distribution projects.

You will act as a central interface between engineering, project management, site teams, subcontractors, and customers to drive project success from preparation to handover.

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification.

Several years of experience in commissioning or site execution within one or more of the following areas:

• Substations (HV/MV)

• Power generation

• Transmission & distribution projects

HVDC experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

Experience with several of the following systems:

• HV/MV switchgear

• Transformers

• Protection & Control

• SCADA

• Telecommunication systems

• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and HV safety rules.

• Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in an international project environment.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within international teams.

• Fluency in Polish and English.

• Knowledge of international standards and commissioning best practices.

• Willingness to travel extensively across Europe and Asia.
