Job Description

1. Windows System Administration & Operations

• Install, configure, and maintainWindows Server environments (2016/2019/2022)
• ManageActive Directory (AD), Group Policy (GPO), DNS, DHCP, and Windows services
• Monitor system performance and ensuresystem stability and uptime
• Performpatching, upgrades, and lifecycle management using enterprise tools

2. Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting

• Diagnose and resolvesystem, application, and infrastructure issues
• Performroot cause analysis (RCA) for incidents and outages
• Monitor system health using tools likeEvent Viewer, PerfMon, and monitoring platforms
• Optimizeserver performance, storage, and network configurations

3. Automation & Scripting

• Develop automation scripts usingPowerShell (mandatory) and other scripting tools
• Automate tasks such as provisioning, patching, configuration, and reporting
• Implement configuration management and automation frameworks where applicable

4. Security & Hardening

• ImplementWindows security best practices and system hardening
• Manageidentity, access control, and authentication mechanisms
• Applysecurity patches and vulnerability remediation measures
• Ensure compliance withenterprise security standards and policies

5. Cloud & Infrastructure Integration

• Support Windows workloads incloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Managehybrid environments integrating on-premises and cloud systems
• Work with cloud-native tools forbackup, recovery, and scalability

6. Backup, Recovery & Disaster Management

• Implement and managebackup and disaster recovery solutions
• Ensure business continuity throughDR planning and testing
• Maintain system resilience and data protection standards

7. Collaboration & Documentation

• Work closely withDevOps, security, network, and application teams
• Maintain documentation forconfigurations, processes, and system architecture
• Provide guidance onWindows best practices and operational standards
