Physician will diagnose, treat, prescribe and provide specialized medical care and treatment services to individuals with mental illness including:
- Conducting physical examinations: ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests; diagnosing and treating medical conditions.
- Prescribing medications, therapies, vaccinations, and other specialized medical care, modifying treatment if needed.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals and disciplines to achieve treatment goals and objectives.
- Maintaining medical documentation consistent with agency, State, and Federal requirements.
- Participating in discharge planning and collaborating with other providers and disciplines.
Candidate must be licensed to practice medicine in New York State and have certification by Member Board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) in your specialty.
Salary commensurate with scope of work job experience
Proper footwear required to perform tasks in a safe manner.
Perform other reasonably related duties as required.
