General Ledger Accountant / Junior General Ledger Accountant

Arrow Electronics is seeking a General Ledger Accountant or Junior General Ledger Accountant to join our Finance team. If you have practical accounting experience—ideally in an international company, SSC/BPO, or corporate environment—and want to expand your General Ledger knowledge, we would be pleased to hear from you.

This role offers the opportunity to build expertise in General Ledger and Record-to-Report processes within an international environment. You will support month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations while collaborating with colleagues across Europe and the US.

We also welcome candidates with strong accounting fundamentals who have not yet worked across the full General Ledger process. We value potential, motivation, and solid accounting knowledge—not only years of GL experience.

What Will You Be Doing at Arrow?

We are looking for someone with a solid accounting foundation and the motivation to develop further in General Ledger.

As a General Ledger Accountant, you will support accounting processes for assigned Arrow entities.

• Prepare and post accruals and prepayments.
• Post provisions and other journal entries.
• Participate in month-end closing activities.
• Support internal financial reporting for European entities and our US headquarters.
• Perform and document relevant Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls over balance sheet accounts regularly.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations.
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, and other teams.
• Help improve and simplify accounting processes.
• Support the Accounting Manager and wider team with projects and ad hoc activities.

What Are We Looking For?

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or studies in their final stage.
• At least one year of practical finance experience, preferably in General Ledger accounting.
• Experience with ERP systems; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX is an advantage.
• Experience in an SSC or BPO environment is a plus.
• Strong customer- and service-oriented mindset.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
• Proactive approach and willingness to learn.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Advanced written and spoken English; additional European languages are an advantage.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, international environment.
