Astrea Bioseparations is seeking an enthusiasticResearch Assistantspecialising in absorbent development to join our Research & Development team in Cambridge. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative chromatography products that support the manufacture of life-changing therapies.
Working alongside experienced scientists, you will support a variety of R&D projects through laboratory experimentation, data analysis, and reporting. Training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to further develop their scientific career within the biotechnology sector.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct laboratory experiments to support product and application development projects.
Evaluate and interpret experimental results.
Prepare accurate laboratory records and technical reports.
Present findings to project teams and internal stakeholders.
Support the production and analysis of proteins, nucleic acids, and viral vector feedstocks.
Perform routine laboratory equipment maintenance.
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and quality compliance.
About You
You will hold a degree inBiochemistry, Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline and have a genuine interest in biotechnology and scientific innovation.
