As a Game Designer at Ubisoft Montréal, you will work across a range of game systems and mechanics. You’ll help create experiences where player choices matter. Throughout production, you’ll adjust and balance your designs while considering both the details and the overall player experience.

What you’ll do

• Designgame mechanics and systems aligned with the game’s design and creative direction
• Work withcross-functional teams to integrate your assigned features
• Buildprototypes in Unreal Engine and assess their performance
• Adapt your designs totechnical and production constraints
• Findsolutions to issues affecting game features
• Create and maintaindesign documentation for collaborating teams
• Refinefeatures through testing, adjustment, and balancing

What you bring to the team

• Applydeep game design expertise across different systems and mechanics
• UseUnreal Engine, along with word processors and spreadsheets
• Bringthoughtful design skills to a range of gameplay problems
• Demonstrateknowledge of the AAA video game market
• Bringexperience shipping AAA games as an asset for this role
