👉 We are now looking for two legal professionalsto join FORCIT Group (FORCIT) asLegal Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel, Compliance. In these new roles, you will join the General Counsel to form a three-person legal team. The positions are based in Finland and can be located flexibly at FORCIT's offices, for example in Hanko, Tampere or Tuusula, combined with remote work. Note that the successful completion of the task requires 1-2 days of presence at FORCIT's headquarters in Hanko, depending on the ongoing projects. The position is full-time and permanent.

🌍 As a Legal Counsel at FORCIT, you will work at the heart of the business, partnering closely with the business areas and a wide range of stakeholders. You will help the business identify and manage legal risks while supporting sustainable growth and responsible business practices. Your role will cover commercial contracts, regulatory matters, risk management, and other legal issues related to the operations. This is a hands-on role where you can take ownership, see the impact of your work and contribute to shaping how the legal function develops.

🪴As a Senior Legal Counsel, Compliance at FORCIT, you will have a unique opportunity to shape how compliance supports the business and future growth. You will work closely with the management and business teams to identify regulatory requirements, assess risks and develop practical solutions that enable responsible business. A key part of your role will be to continuously develop FORCIT’s compliance framework — helping define the principles, policies, processes and governance that form the foundation of the compliance culture. You will advise the organisation on matters such as regulatory compliance, ethics, risk management, internal controls and business integrity, while supporting teams in turning requirements into effective day-to-day practices.

This is a role for someone who wants to do more than interpret rules. You will have the opportunity to help frame the compliance agenda, influence how the organisation operates and build a compliance culture that supports both trust and business success.

You may be the person we’re looking for if:

🔹 you have a master’s degree in law and at least five years of relevant post-graduate work experience, preferably gained in an in-house legal or compliance role, at a law firm or in a legal consultancy setting. Please note that this is a minimum requirement, and both roles offer plenty of opportunities and interesting challenges for more senior legal professionals as well;

🔹 you are positive, solution-oriented and you bring solid legal experience. For the Legal Counsel role, we prefer a generalist profile and for the Senior Legal Counsel, Compliancerole, we are looking for someone with strong expertise in compliance and a proven ability to build and develop compliance functions;

🔹 you are a collaborative team player who values open communication, knowledge-sharing and working together towards common goals;

🔹 you are proactive, resilient, and have a can-do attitude – you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves, take initiative, and get things done; and

🔹 you have strong communication skills – fluency in Finnish and English (both written and spoken) is required – Swedish is considered as an advantage.
