Bookkeeper / Accounting Clerk (Hybrid)

The Set up:

We are a small, fast-moving team looking for a business-savvy Bookkeeper or Accounting Clerk to own our day-to-day numbers.
This is a hybrid role based out of ourEdmonton location, offering a highly flexible20 to 40 hours per month.

We aren't looking for a passive data-entry clerk. We need someone genuinely curious who "knows their stuff," catches on fast, and takes pride in understanding the actual business behind the numbers and deliver meaningful data we can actually use to make decisions - no hand-holding required.

• Limited AP/AR: If you hate chasing down clients for late payments, you’re in luck. We have incredibly limited manual AP/AR. Most of our bills are auto-paid via credit card/PAD, and our customers pay in advance.

• Multi-Corp Made Easy: We run 5 different corporations. Before you panic - they are set up identically, making the workflow incredibly straightforward, repetitive, and organized. But, there are 5 of them.

• 100% Cloud-Based: If your preferred filing system involves a physical printer and physical folders, we arenot the fit for you. We hate overly complicated systems and jargon-heavy communication.

• The Tech Stack: We run onQuickBooks Online andWagepoint. We don't have the time to train you on the basics of these platforms, so youmust already know your way around them like the back of your hand.

  
  

What You’ll Do:

• Take full ownership of our daily bookkeeping inQuickBooks Online.

• Manage all things payroll usingWagepoint.

• Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and POS data.

• Handle GST returns and other "fun" tax filings.

• Manage end-of-month reporting and basic administrative tasks linked to the role.

• Help streamline and optimized internal processes with your accounting outlook
