Page-Theus Funeral Home & Cremation Services is looking for a Funeral Director to join our team in Leesburg, FL where we offer a passionate and purpose-filled work environment.The Funeral Director serves as a trusted source of support, guidance, and direction for families before, during, and after the loss of a loved one. The ideal candidate combines compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail with the ability to help families navigate difficult decisions during a time of loss. By providing exceptional care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and honoring every life with dignity and respect, the Funeral Director plays a vital role in creating meaningful experiences for the families we serve.
Responsibilities
- Provide a source of support, guidance, and direction to families before, during, and after the loss of a loved one
- Coordinate, assist, and carry out all aspects of a funeral service and final memorialization
- Adhere to all professional, municipal, state, and federal licensing regulations and rules applicable to the funeral service profession
- Ensure that all federal, state, and local regulations related to the funeral industry are followed
Qualifications
- Licensed Funeral Director in Florida or the ability to reciprocate.
- Have excellent communication skills, integrity, and an innate passion for serving others.
- Work proficiency in Microsoft office products (word, excel, outlook)
- Knowledge of current federal, state and local regulations?related to the funeral industry
Compensation range of $28-32/hr.
