Job Summary
As an Engineering (Electronic) Intern with Fugro Subsea Technologies, you will have the opportunity to play a vital role in the design, development, and testing of and equipment equipment for Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV/eROV). You will work alongside a team of experienced engineers and gain practical experience in various aspects of electronic engineering, including design, analysis,
prototyping, and testing.
This position will be reporting to the Electronic Design Engineer Team Lead.
Responsibilities:
ā¢ Design and Development: You will assist in the design and development of electronic components and systems for subsea equipment. This may include concept generation, simulation, 3d modelling, detailed design, prototyping and testing.
ā¢ Documentation and Reporting: You will contribute to creating and maintaining detailed engineering documentation, including design specifications, technical reports, test procedures, and drawings.
Ensure that all documentation adheres to quality and regulatory standards.
ā¢ Collaboration: You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and project managers, to ensure seamless communication and successful project execution.
Participate in design reviews and provide input and feedback on electronic designs.
ā¢ Research and Innovation: You will be able to stay updated on the latest advancements in electronics design technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
ā¢ Safety and Compliance: You will be required to comply with all safety guidelines and regulations, maintaining a safe and secure working environment.
Requirements:
ā¢ Proficient in English. Written and spoken.
ā¢ Able to perform analog, digital and PCB design with Altium.
ā¢ Able to produce isometrix projection drawing in Acad.
