tosupportglobalaccountingfunctions.Thisrolefocusesonenhancingfinancialdataaccuracy,drivingprocessstandardization,andensuringsystemreadinessacrossmultipleregions.

Responsibilities

FinancialDataReview &Accuracy

• Examine,verify,cleanse,andreconcilefinancialrecordssuchastrialbalances,generalledgers,invoices,taxdata,andbankstatementstoensurecompletenessandcorrectness.
• Assistinpreparingdatamappings,codingframeworks,andaligningfinancialdataforsystemenhancementsandstandardizedreporting.
• Takepartinsystemtestingandworkcloselywithsenioraccountantsandcross-functionalteamstoidentifyandresolveinconsistencies.

ProcessDocumentation &StakeholderCoordination

• Captureanddocumentcurrentaccountingprocesses,controls,andreportingneedstoimproveefficiencyandconsistency.
• Collaboratewithfinance,IT,tax,andauditteamsacrossgeographiestogatherrequirements,aligndeliverables,andshareupdates.
• Maintaindetaileddocumentationandaudittrailstosupportcompliancerequirementsandfutureaudits.

DataValidation,Reporting &SystemSupport

• Supportvalidationoffinancialdataacrosssystemsbyreconcilingreportssuchastrialbalance,P&L,andbalancesheet.
• ContributetoUserAcceptanceTesting (UAT)toensurealignmentwithbusiness,reporting,andstatutoryrequirements.
• Assistinidentifyingandaddressingdiscrepanciesthatimpactreportingaccuracyandworkflowefficiency.

GeneralAccountingSupport

• Handleroutineaccountingactivitiesincludingledgerupdates,journalentries,bankreconciliations,andGST/TDS-relatedtasks.
• Supportmonth-endandyear-endclosingprocessestoensuretimelyandaccuratereporting.
• Contributetoongoingprocessimprovementinitiativeswithinthefinanceteam.

Required Competencies

• QualifiedCharteredAccountant (CA)
• 10+yearsof post-qualificationrelevantexperienceinaccountingorfinance
• B.Com /M.Compreferred
• ProficiencyinMicrosoftOffice365 (Excel,Word,PowerPoint,Outlook)
• StrongverbalandwrittencommunicationskillsinEnglish
• Abilitytomanagemultipleprioritiesandmeetdeadlineswithaccuracy
• Stronganalyticalthinking,problem-solvingability,andattentiontodetail
• Capabilitytoworkindependentlyaswellascollaborativelywithinateam
• Goodinterpersonalskillswiththeabilitytobuildeffectivestakeholderrelationships
