The role of the Collibra Data Governance Specialist is to implement, administer, and enhance enterprise data governance capabilities using Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud. This role will partner with business, data, analytics, and IT teams to establish strong data governance practices, improve data transparency, and enable trusted, compliant data across the organization.Â
The ideal candidate combines hands-on Collibra expertise with a solid understanding of data governance frameworks, metadata management, and stakeholder engagement.Â

Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
Collibra Platform Implementation & AdministrationÂ
- Configure and administer Collibra Data Governance and Data CatalogÂ
- Customize operating models, domains, communities, assets, and workflowsÂ
- Implement business glossaries, data dictionaries, and ownership modelsÂ
- Manage Collibra integrations with data platforms, BI tools, and metadata sourcesÂ
Data Governance & StewardshipÂ
- Define and operationalize data governance policies, standards, and processesÂ
- Support data stewardship and ownership across business domainsÂ
- Enable data lineage, impact analysis, and data certificationÂ
- Ensure governance practices support regulatory and compliance requirementsÂ
Metadata, Lineage & Data QualityÂ
- Ingest and manage technical and business metadataÂ
- Support automated and manual lineage across systemsÂ
- Collaborate with data quality teams to surface data quality rules and metrics in CollibraÂ
Stakeholder Engagement & EnablementÂ
- Work with business and technical stakeholders to onboard data assets into CollibraÂ
- Conduct training sessions for data owners, stewards, and usersÂ
- Promote adoption of Collibra as the system of record for governed dataÂ

Required QualificationsÂ
- 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related rolesÂ
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Collibra Data Intelligence CloudÂ
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and operating modelsÂ
- Experience working with metadata, lineage, and data cataloging conceptsÂ
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsÂ

Preferred QualificationsÂ
- Experience integrating Collibra with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure, AWS)Â
- Familiarity with BI and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)Â
- Experience with data quality tools and processesÂ
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA, SOX, etc.)Â
- Collibra certification (Ranger, Governance, or equivalent)Â
