Clipper Café Busser (FT or PT Seasonal)

Job Summary

Assist our Food and Beverage department in providing fast and courteous service of food and beverage to guests by clearing and setting tables and performing miscellaneous tasks in our skier café.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Obtain service area assignment at the beginning of each shift.
• Clear tables after guests. Take tableware to dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washing.
• Promptly clean table tops, chairs, and booths between seating. Check floor and clean as required.
• Respond appropriately to guest requests. Communicate guest requests to leaders as needed.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Clipper Café as directed by the Café manager or immediate supervisor.
• Set up and break down dining room for each shift.
• Maintain service stations in a clean and orderly manner throughout shift.
• Perform all opening and closing side work as required.
• Perform additional duties as requested by a manager at any time.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies.

Job Specifications

Competencies:

• TIPS/TAMS Certified – may be obtained after employment.
• ServSafe certified preferred – may be obtained while employed.
• Clear and concise verbal communication skills.

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical & Other Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
• The employee is frequently required to taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. 
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays are a regular part of the schedule.
• Must have excellent attendance and conduct record for consideration.
• Non-smoking candidates preferred.
