Project Manager

Flowserve is seeking an exceptionally organized, detail-orientedProject Manager to join our expanding aftermarket platform in Houston. This position is fueled by an intense, unyielding high volume of customer parts and infrastructure orders across our heavy industrial channels.

Because this arm of our business centers entirely on the manufacturing and tracking of engineered-to-order new pumps and custom replacement components, the role can primarily operate remotely. Core Responsibilities

• High-Volume Portfolio Control: Manage a dynamic portfolio of 5 to 20 concurrent new pump and aftermarket parts manufacturing projects.
• Lifecycle Data Master: Actively manage and track all active order workflows, engineering changes, and milestones using precise tracking spreadsheets and email documentation.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Serve as the central communication pivot point, coordinating seamlessly across engineering leads, global buyers, sales units, and executive leadership.
• Constraint & Milestone Management: Intercept scope changes and material delays early to keep factory manufacturing cycles aligned with tight client delivery windows.

Required Qualifications

• Industry Domain Knowledge: 5+ years of capital equipment or rotating machinery project management, with a clear understanding ofAPI 610 pump standards, oil and gas, or power generation systems.
• Organizational Mastery: High detail orientation with proven success executing complex asset tracking solely via advanced spreadsheets and communication workflows.
• Academic/Professional Balance: Strong technical problem-solving capabilities focused on realistic industrial throughput (Note: Real-world stress management and hands-on execution are prioritized over purely academic PMP methodologies).
