THE ROLE
As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you'll play an important role in ensuring customer payments are accurately receipted and allocated, helping to keep our financial operations running smoothly. You'll work closely with the Accounts Receivable team to support day-to-day processing while partnering with stakeholders across the business to provide exceptional service and resolve queries efficiently.
Some of your key responsibilities will be:
- Reconciliation of payments
- Performing daily financial transactions such as verifying, calculating and posting accounts receivable data
- Supporting the month end process
- Generate receivables and balance reports
- Collect payment from customers/clients and accurately record it into the system
ABOUT YOU
This is a role for someone who enjoys balancing administrative tasks with customer interaction. You'll be speaking with customers over the phone to assist with payment enquiries, resolve account queries, and build positive relationships, so confidence on the phone and a customer-first approach are essential. If you're organised, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a collaborative team where no two days are the same, we'd love to hear from you.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar finance or administration role involving payment processing, reconciliations and customer service
- Confident and professional communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers over the phone and via email
- Intermediate computer software skills, including Excel and other accounting packages
