About the Role
Finning Canada is looking for a Salesforce Platform Administrator to support and enhance our Salesforce environment within a Tier 3/4 support model.
This role is perfect for an admin who thrives at the intersection of automation, problem-solving, and light development. You’ll build scalable solutions, resolve production issues, and apply targeted Apex/LWC enhancements when declarative tools reach their limits.
You’ll play a key role in keeping the platform stable, improving processes, and driving smarter, AI-enabled support operations.

What You’ll Do:

🔧 Platform Administration & Configuration

  • Manage users, roles, profiles, permission sets, and security models

  • Configure and maintaincustom objects, validation rules, approvals, and Lightning pages

  • Build and optimizeadvanced Flows and automation frameworks

⚙️ Automation & Light Development

  • Design scalable solutions usingFlow and platform tools

  • Build and maintainlightweight Apex (classes, triggers, test classes) and SOQL

  • Supportbasic Lightning Web Components (LWC) where needed

  • Identify opportunities to leverageAI-driven automation

🚨 Production Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Troubleshoot and resolveproduction incidents and data issues

  • Execute controlledconfiguration and metadata changes

  • Contribute toroot cause analysis and preventative solutions

  • Partner with Tier 2 teams onrunbooks and knowledge transfer

🤝 Collaboration & Enablement

  • Work across teams to drivebest practices and process adoption

  • Providetraining, documentation, and guidance to users

  • Stay current on Salesforce releases and recommendplatform enhancements

What You Bring:

✅2+ years of Salesforce Administration experience (enterprise environment)
✅ Strong expertise in:

  • Salesforce Flow (advanced)

  • Configuration (objects, validation rules, approvals, security)

✅ Hands-on experience with:

  • Apex (basic–intermediate)

  • SOQL

  • Exposure toLightning Web Components (LWC)

✅ Experience supportingproduction environments (incident resolution, RCA)
✅ Strong communication skills with experiencetraining and influencing stakeholders
✅ Experience withintegrations and/or automation tooling
✅ Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience

Nice to Have:

  • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform App Builder)

  • Experience withAI automation / Salesforce Einstein

  • Exposure toDevOps or deployment tools
