POSITION SUMMARY
The FP&A Analyst is responsible for supporting the company’s strategic goals and objectives within the Finance Group.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain the corporate model used for long-term projections, capital allocation, liquidity planning, and scenario/sensitivity analysis
- Track actual production, capital, and operating results against budget and forecast, and analyze variances to determine and explain key drivers
- Support the commodity hedging program – tracking hedge positions, assisting with trade execution and hedge coverage requirements under the debt facility
- Serve asa key participantinA&D underwriting,includingfinancial modeling, valuation, and riskassessment for potential transactions
- Prepare internal/external presentations that translate technical and financial analysis into clear, decision-ready recommendations
- Support near-term cash flow forecasting, daily cash positioning, and liquidity monitoring across bank accounts and receipts/disbursements
- Assist with debt administration and lender reporting requirements
- Maintain respectful and productive working relationships within and across all work groups, ensuring effective collaboration and cooperation

Qualifications
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Financial modeling and accounting knowledge.
- Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; effectively converse with all levels of the company, customers, business associates.
- Professional integrity and accountability.
- Work in fast-paced, collaborative environment.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics or similar
- 2+ years in energy investment banking, corporate banking, private equity, or at an E&P operator
- 2+ years finance/accounting experience
- Oil & gas experience

- Previous experience in Oil and Gas Exploration & Production.
- Experience with Concur.
- Knowledge of, and experience with, Oil & Gas accounting and GAAP principles.
- Previous experience with cash management and treasury duties.
- Good presentation skills.
- Previous experience with variance analysis.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of complex analytical experience in the Oil and Gas industry.

This position is eligible for a 9/80 hybrid work schedule after 30-days of employment. Work is performed at office on Tuesdays through Thursdays, remote work on Mondays and Fridays.Â
