About the Role:

 

The transcription marketplace runs on relationships and consistency, and this role is the person responsible for

both. As the Transcription Marketplace team scales, we need someone who fully owns the operational layer: the Independent Contractor experience fromfirst contact through onboarding, the quality feedback loop, and the day-to-day communication that keeps ourtranscriber network functioning.

 

Reporting & Structure

Reports to the Manager, Strategy & Operations. Works closely with the broader Transcription Marketplace operationsteam.

 

What You'll Do

● Serve as the primary point of contact for transcribers via Email and Slack, managing questions, issues, and routine communications

● Own onboarding for new transcription Independent Contractor's: coordinating paperwork, training access, and first-week check-ins

● Conduct QA reviews on transcription deliverables, flagging issues and routing feedback to appropriate owners

â—Ź Maintain communication logs and ensure follow-through on open items

â—Ź Support the Transcription Marketplace Strategy Team with operational tasks to clear bandwidth for strategic priorities

â—Ź Contribute to process documentation as workflows are refined

What We're Looking For

â—Ź 1-2 years experience in a fast-growing startup or consulting firm

â—Ź Strong written communicator. You write clearly and professionally with little editing needed.

â—Ź Detail-oriented and consistent. QA work requires you to catch what others miss.

â—Ź Organized self-starter who can manage a queue of tasks without constant direction

â—Ź Experience in coordinator, operations, or administrative roles

â—Ź Familiarity with transcription, legal services, or independent contractor management is a plus

Compensation Information: $70,000-90,000
 
 
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. The total compensation package for this position will be determined by each individual’s location, qualifications, education, work experience, skills and performance. We believe in the importance of pay equity - the range listed is just one component of Filevine’s total compensation package for employees. This position is also eligible for a paid time off policy, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
