Walmart Luminate is the first product, which has been created to deliver actionable, customer-centric insights, empowering CPGs and Walmart merchants make data-driven

decisions in a smarter, faster, and collaborative manner.
We are seeking an experienced and Staff Scientist with expertise in deep learning and Generative AI to lead our work in creating AI-powered applications. 

What you will do:

•Lead the development and integration of Generative AI-powered application-level capabilities, including applications within customer support and experience.
•Oversee all Generative AI projects within Data Ventures, ensuring their alignment with the company's objectives and the team's strategic direction.
•Mentor and guide junior scientists, fostering their growth and development in the field of Generative AI and data science.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and drive innovation through Generative AI solutions.
•Serve as an inspirational figure within the team, motivating and leading by example.

What you will bring:

•Ph.D. or Masters in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field with extensive experience in Generative AI.
•Strong understanding of deep learning, NLP, and generative AI technologies, with a proven track record of building and deploying advanced applications.
•Prior experience in technical leadership or senior roles, showcasing the ability to oversee and drive Generative AI initiatives.
•Exceptional problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to prototype and implement complex AI solutions.
•A growth mindset and a passion for staying updated with the latest developments in AI/ML and Generative AI.
•Outstanding communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
