Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator will work to support brand strategy for the company from an awareness and attraction standpoint. Working alongside multiple internal and external teams, the Marketing Coordinator will aim to curate a cohesive brand image for Fessler & Bowman. This role will be responsible for the maintenance of all social media platforms and the creation of marketing assets and collateral materials including; brochures, resumes, newsletters, photography/videography, project profiles, recruitment information, etc. The descriptions below are representative of, but not limited to, the duties and responsibilities for this position.
Five Key Roles of the Marketing Coordinator:
- Support company social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement statistics, and following.
- Create and maintain a Marketing Asset and Data Library to facilitate a one-stop-shop of resources to support business development and team success.
- Produce or outsource photo and video content that captures all regions and all scopes of work including concrete, civil and DOT.
- Internal and external graphic design requests within a reasonable turnaround timeframe. This includes flyers, hiring promos, logos, brochures, charity/donation opportunity requests, etc.
- Partner with Human Resources on hiring needs and how to best support through outreach efforts and social channels.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Help maintain company information, materials, and associated marketing databases.
- Compile and update employee resumes, monitoring and regularly updating experience lists per employee.
- Create and maintain company photo/media asset data storage/library.
- Prepare and analyze metrics and reports on social media, website performance, and SEO. Make recommendations for improvements and implement.
- Manage company website including improvements, updates, and engaging third party firm when necessary.
- Maintain brand image across business and social pages including managing office locations, contact information and reviews.
- Respond to all messages through social media platforms, collaborating with HR when necessary.
- Assemble project profiles with Project Management and Field Operations teams for distribution and inclusion on brochures, and requests for qualification/proposal.
- Participate and engage with industry partners such as trade shows, events, conferences, etc.
- Assist in development and management of the marketing budget and solicit pricing from applicable vendors.
- Lead production of quarterly Company Newsletter.
- Manage vendor coordination for any marketing related projects.
- Cross train with Bid Coordinator to serve as backup for prequalifications.
- Communicating and upholding the Company’s commitment to Integrity and Code of Ethics, as well as ensuring the same for the entire team.
- Other relevant tasks as assigned.
Education, Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field preferred
- 5 years of relevant experience required
- Experience within the construction industry preferred
- Experience with budgets and paid marketing
- Ability to produce photography/videography/media content at an above average level
- Graphic design program experience
Travel:
Travel is required for this position and is anticipated at 25%. Fessler & Bowman will compensate for travel when applicable.
Work Environment:
As a Marketing Coordinator, you will be subject to various work environments in addition to a traditional office setting. Environments include but are not limited to the following: high/low temperatures, areas close to traffic, loud and frequent noises, confined spaces, heights, indoor/outdoor settings.
