As theAssociate Director, Commercial Learning and Development (Uro-Oncology) you will leverage your field sales and L&D experience to lead the design, development, facilitation, and measurement of commercial sales learning programs and oversee the overall training strategy and plan for the Uro-Oncology business unit. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Key Account Management, Senior Leadership and other key stakeholders to ensure the Uro-Oncology training strategy & execution supports the business needs, strategy & objectives.

Responsibilities:
Partner with the brand to have a deep understanding of the strategy and internalize the Commercial L&D vision/strategy and the role of Uro-Oncology training within the overall business strategy. Understand the companyâs competitive position(s), the strengths, and opportunities of the business.
Continuously capture feedback from stakeholders, creating and measuring sales L&D effectiveness metrics for current commercial customer facing employees while preparing for expansion positions. Creates, maintains and reports L&D metrics which focus on training effectiveness, value, and impact
Design, develop, deliver, and assess the L&D initiatives for Uro-Oncology needs; sales, field reimbursement, key account management, regional directors and more.
Supports business objectives by developing business planning processes which focus on streamlining training vendors, resources and platforms. Works closely with sales leaders, marketing leaders and field-based stakeholders to pull through initiatives
Design, develop, and implement the approved product training and capabilities for POAs, initial new hires, advanced, continuous, and POAs for sales, sales managers, and key account managers utilizing adult learning principles.
Continuously evaluates training initiatives by conducting ongoing needs and gap analysis to identify essential training initiatives needed for the evolving franchise growth
Assist in the establishment of standardizing training processes, including management of the on-line Learning Management System, and other platforms to ensure consistency. Â
Works with cross functional teams to build appropriate modernized learning assets to enable commercial roles and responsibilities
Project manages training curriculum that includes content creation, vendor management, budget management, and communication to key stakeholders
Requirements:Â
Buy and Bill experience required, Oncology experience preferred
Bachelorâs degree required, Advanced Degree preferred
5+ years of life sciences experience in commercial learning and development required
3+ years of life sciences experience in customer-facing sales roles
Ability to lead the development and execution of commercial training plans
Strong facilitation, presentation, and project management skills
Ability to work independently, take ownership, and manage multiple training initiatives and maintain strong attention to detail
History of demonstrating strong cross-functional collaboration skills
Experience working with training vendors, learning platforms, and performance data metrics
Training certifications preferred

Our Compensation and Benefits
At Ferring, base salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $120,000 to $223,000 which is the reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount paid may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education and primary work location. Additional compensation for this role will be provided based on competitive annual incentive compensation targets in the form of an annual bonus - payouts are based on individual and company performance.
Benefits for this role include: comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with a premium differential, inverse to base salary, to be paid by employees; a 401k plan and company match; short and long-term disability coverage; basic life insurance; wellness benefits; reimbursement for certain tuition expenses; sick time frontloaded yearly of 40 hours, or higher if state or local law requires; vacation time for full time employees to accrue between 112.5 and 150 hours yearly in the first four (4) years of employment, and additional accruals starting in the fifth (5th) year of employment; and 12 to 13 paid holidays per year. For roles that are not field-based, Ferring has a hybrid work policy that is four days in the office, with the option to work one day remotely.
