Grade 4 Class Teacher (including SP Art)

TO QUALIFY TO JOIN OUR JUNIOR SCHOOL TEAM AS A GRADE 4 CLASS TEACHER (incl. SP Art), YOU WOULD:

• Have a minimum of 5 years’ Senior Primary class teaching experience in a similar environment to St John’s D.S.G.
• Have at least 2 years’ experience teaching Senior Primary Art (advantageous).
• Have a strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate pedagogy.
• Be warm, engaging, resilient, honest, genuine, empathetic and kind.
• Have excellent teamwork, communication and collaboration skills.
• Have strong values that align to the Christian ethos of the school.
• Have a Bachelor of Education, specialising in Intermediate Phase, or a similar 4-year Intermediate Phase qualification.
• Be completely fluent in English.
• Have a high level of computer competency and be willing to learn new systems.
• Have a clear criminal clearance certificate.
• Be SACE registered.
