ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

AI-Augmented Delivery

  • Demonstrate active AI fluency — use AI assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude, or equivalent) as a daily co-engineer for code generation, test creation, documentation, and learning.
  • Apply AI tools systematically to accelerate engineering work — code generation, automated test creation, refactoring, and code review.
  • Use AI to accelerate research, requirements analysis, and stakeholder communication.
  • Coach teammates on effective AI-augmented practices and contribute to team conventions for AI use.
  • Validate AI-generated outputs before accepting them into deliverables.

Requirements & Story Writing

  • Partner with technical product managers and business stakeholders on requirements gathering and analysis.
  • Write user stories independently using Given-When-Then (Gherkin) format with clear behavioral context (Given = initial state/preconditions, When = actions/triggers, Then = expected outcomes).
  • Define acceptance criteria covering happy paths, common edge cases, and error conditions.
  • Document dependencies, integration points, and validation rules clearly for development teams.
  • Support user research and product validation activities.
  • Track product metrics and support data-driven product decisions.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Participate in and contribute to requirements discovery sessions with business stakeholders.
  • Communicate sprint progress, story status, and delivery risks to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support sprint reviews by demonstrating completed work and gathering stakeholder feedback.
  • Build effective working relationships across business and engineering teams.

Mentorship & Growth

  • Provide guidance to Associate TPOs on GWT story writing, requirements best practices, and agile delivery.
  • Participate actively in communities of practice for product owners.
  • Contribute to team templates, standards, and shared documentation.
  • Seek coaching from Senior TPOs to develop toward the next level of practice.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Required

  • 2–4 years of business analyst or product analyst experience.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Given-When-Then (Gherkin) story writing and agile delivery practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred

  • Working proficiency with Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.

  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, or equivalent).
  • CSPO or equivalent agile certification.
