Position:Senior Software Engineer

Duties:Design, develop, and implement large-scale distributed systems that process large volume of data; focusing on scalability, latency, efficiency, and fault-tolerance in every system that is built. Understand the vaguely defined major business problem of product vision, translate it into executable technical design and road maps to solve the problem or realize the product vision. Demonstrate technical skills to solve classes of problems or create broadly leverageable solutions. Own multiple systems, and work with engineers, product managers, and engineering leaders to identify opportunities for business impact. Participate in setting a vision and objectives for the team in alignment with business and market needs. Work with engineers by providing oversight and direction to various engineers working across different efforts. Actively participate in technical review meetings and agile methodology such as planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily status reporting. Ensure the intended design and quality levels are met through regular code reviews.

Minimum education and experience required:Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years of experience in software engineering or related area;OR Master's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 1 year of experience in software engineering or related area.

Skills required:Experience designing and implementing REST API web services. Experience building scalable, fault-tolerant, high performance Service Oriented Architecture. Experience in programming using Java and J2EE with in depth understanding of VJM (Java Virtual Machine). Experience with Java frameworks including Spring Boot. Experience with modern unit testing frameworks JUnits and Integration Tests. Experience with development tools including Eclipse and Intellij. Experience with building tools including Maven. Experience with code versioning tools including Git. Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipeline using Jenkins. Experience with No-SQL and RDBMS technologies. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $137,717/year to $216,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
