What success looks like in this role:

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in deploying software, managing updates, and ensuring compliance for end-user devices (Windows, iOS, Android) usingMicrosoft Intune and related Microsoft Endpoint Management (MEM) tools. The role will involve troubleshooting infrastructure and client issues, managing device compliance, and optimizing deployment workflows to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.Custom reporting,system upgrades, and exploringnew features within Intune are essential parts of the position.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience withIntune (orMicrosoft Endpoint Manager) for Software Distribution, Patch Management, and Device Compliance.
• Enterprise Support Processes: Lead execution of enterprise support processes, includingIncident Management,Problem Management,Change Management,Service Request Management,Asset & Configuration Management. 3-5 years' experience in engineering, building, and supporting a large, heterogeneous, multi-platform (Windows, mobile) environment.
• Software Deployment & Update Management: In-depth experience incloud-based software deployment, managing updates, and configuring patch rollout policies usingIntune andEndpoint Configuration Profiles.
• Deployment Troubleshooting & Incident Resolution: Lead the resolution of deployment failures, ensuring timely and successful software rollouts across devices. Proactively investigate deployment-related incidents and provide effective solutions.
• Infrastructure Knowledge: Experience inclient-side troubleshooting of Intune-managed devices, including issues related to device enrollment, compliance policies, application deployment, and security updates.
• Intune Concepts: Strong knowledge ofMicrosoft Intune configuration and architecture, including:
  • Device Enrollment (Azure AD Join, Autopilot)
  • Compliance Policies and Configuration Profiles
  • Software Deployment via Intune (Windows, iOS, Android)
  • Security Updates and Patch Management via Intune
• Integration Experience: Hands-on experience in integratingAutopilot,Azure Active Directory, andIntune forend-to-end device lifecycle management. Familiarity with integratingPowerShell scripts andgraph API for advanced deployments and automation.
• System & Platform Expertise: Knowledge of configuring and managing software and security patches on various platforms (Windows 10/11, iOS, Android).
• Security & Compliance: Ensure that allsecurity updates are deployed on time and compliant with organizational policies. ImplementConditional Access policies to ensure security compliance across all devices.
• Scripting and Automation: Proficiency inPowerShell scripting for automating repetitive tasks, troubleshooting, and integrating custom solutions with Intune. Experience using tools likeAzure CLI orMicrosoft Graph API is a plus.
• Packaging & Deployment: Experience packaging and deploying applications throughIntune and integrating third-party applications. Familiarity with tools likeMicrosoft App Packaging Tool,PowerShell, andWin32 App Packaging.
• Reporting and Metrics: Create customIntune reports for device compliance, software deployment status, patching status, and asset management. Maintain and optimize reporting for license validation, software usage, and deployment schedules.
• Service Improvement: Ability to assess and improve existing workflows andService Improvements related to device management, patch management, and software distribution usingIntune. Regularly evaluate the latest features and improvements inMicrosoft Intune andEndpoint Manager.

BA/BS degree and 5-7 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
