Your Opportunity as the Lead Analyst, Pet Finance

Serve as a strategic finance partner supporting the Dog Snacks and Cat portfolio. This position provides financial insights, decision support, and business partnership to help influence informed decisions, identify risks and opportunities, and support profitable growth for the Pet SBA. The role will support the Dog Snacks cross-functional teams, own responsibilities related to Trade and Introduction Spend, and partner closely with the Pet Sales Strategy and Planning team. 

Location:Orrville, OH

Work Arrangements: Hybrid, 35% onsite

In this role you will:

• Serve as the Finance lead for the Dog Snacks brands, providing objective financial leadership, business visibility, and decision support to help achieve Pet SBA sales and profit objectives. 
• Lead monthly financial reviews for the Dog Snacks brands, perform new item and ad hoc analysis, and provide clear financial guidance on key business drivers, risks, and opportunities. 
• Partner with the Pet Sales Strategy and Planning team to provide financial guidance for customer strategies and support the development of customer financial targets. 
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams to support planning, forecasting, and long-range planning processes, ensuring timely execution, maintaining data integrity across key inputs and assumptions, and leading Trade and Introduction Spend forecast reviews. 
• Identify forecast gaps and trade funding balances, analyze incremental opportunities, and translate financial insights into actionable recommendations that influence informed, profitable decisions. 

What we are looking for:

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field 

• 4+ years of progressive Finance experience 

• Excellent Excel spreadsheet capabilities 

• Ability to translate analysis into clear insights and recommendations 

• Ability to influence cross-functional partners and build effective relationships 

• Strong business acumen with ability to connect financial results to strategy 

• Highly organized and strong focus on accuracy and precision
