Senior Staff Engineer (Fullstack/Vue/Next.js/Python/AWS)

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in frontend (Vue.js / Next.js), backend (Python), AWS cloud services, and modern DevOps practices. The role requires hands-on experience in designing, building, and deploying scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud-native applications, along with strong architectural understanding.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintainfull stack applications across frontend and backend
• Build responsive and high-quality UI usingVue.js and/or Next.js
• Develop robust backend services and APIs usingPython (FastAPI, Flask)
• Architect scalable, event-driven systems using AWS services
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS usingECS, Fargate, Lambda, and API Gateway
• Implement CI/CD pipelines usingGitHub Actions and Harness
• Provision and manage infrastructure usingTerraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• Design and optimizedatabase solutions (relational and NoSQL)
• Ensure application reliability usingCloudWatch, Dynatrace, and Splunk
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for end-to-end delivery
• Contribute toarchitecture, design decisions, and best practices

Required Skills & Expertise Frontend

• Strong hands-on experience withVue.js and/or Next.js (React ecosystem)
• Solid understanding ofJavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
• Experience in building responsive and performant UI

Backend

• Strong development experience inPython
• Experience withREST APIs and microservices architecture
• Familiarity with frameworks such asFastAPI / Flask / Django

AWS & Cloud (Must-have)

Hands-on experience with a broad AWS ecosystem, including:

• Compute & APIs: EC2, ECS, ECS Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway
• Storage & DB: S3, DynamoDB, Aurora, RDS
• Integration: SNS, SQS, Step Functions
• Networking & Security: Route 53, DNS, ALB, WAF, Cognito, Secrets Manager
• Data & Analytics: OpenSearch, Glue, DMS, QuickSight
• Monitoring: CloudWatch, Dynatrace, Splunk
• Security & Governance: CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub
• Container Registry: ECR

DevOps & Tools

• Strong experience inTerraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• Hands-on experience withGitHub Actions and Harness
• Experience withDocker and ECS deployments
• Strong understanding ofCI/CD pipelines and release automation

Database

• Strong knowledge ofRDBMS (Aurora, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Experience withNoSQL databases (DynamoDB)
• Ability to design efficient schemas and optimize queries

Design & Architecture

• Strong understanding ofsystem design and scalable architectures
• Experience withmicroservices and event-driven design patterns
• Knowledge ofsecurity best practices and high availability design

Good to Have

• Exposure toAmazon SageMaker (ML workflows)
• Experience withlarge-scale enterprise integrations / M&A systems

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset

Qualifications

• 13+ years of software engineering experience with strong proficiency in Javascript and Python and AWS
• You need to be expertise in: Frontend frameworks (React/Next.js/Vue.js preferred) Backend systems (Python)
• Experience with system design, scalability, and performance
• Knowledge of OOP principles, data structures, algorithms and design patterns
• Knowledge of good software development practices (Clean Code, Refactoring)
