Role Overview

We are looking for a skilledAutomation QA Engineer with strong experience inAWS environments,REST API automation, andUI testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building robust automation frameworks, ensuring application quality across microservices-based systems, and contributing to scalable test strategies.

Experience inPlaywright and modern automation tools is essential, along with a strong understanding of cloud-native applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintainautomation test frameworks for web applications and APIs
• Performend-to-end testing across UI, backend, and integrated systems
• Develop and executeREST API automation test suites
• ImplementUI automation using tools likePlaywright
• Work inAWS-based environments to validate cloud-native applications
• Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams in anAgile environment
• Validate data integrity across services and integrations
• Participate inCI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing
• Identify, document, and track defects effectively
• Ensure high standards oftest coverage, performance, and security

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience inAutomation Testing
• Strong hands-on experience in:
  • REST API Automation Testing
  • UI Automation Testing
• Proficiency withPlaywright (preferred) or similar tools (Selenium, Cypress)
• Experience withautomation scripting languages such as:
  • JavaScript / TypeScript
  • Java or Python
• Solid understanding ofsoftware testing concepts and QA methodologies
• Experience working inAWS cloud environments
• Familiarity with:
  • Microservices architecture
  • CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Strong debugging and analytical skills

Good to Have Skills

• Experience inETL/data pipeline testing
• Exposure toPySpark-based data validation
• Familiarity with:
  • AWS data services (S3, Glue, EMR)
• Knowledge ofdatabase testing (SQL/NoSQL)
• Experience withperformance or load testing tools
• Understanding oftest data management and data validation strategies

• Strong problem-solving mindset
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in fast-paced teams
• Attention to detail and quality-driven approach
