Senior AI Engineer - AI & Credit Analytics

This position is in our Financial Services and Data group, and works heavily in credit analytics. You will report to the Senior Director of Data Modelling. This is a remote position.

• You will buildscalable, production-grade AI systems that automate and enhancecredit analytics and credit decisioning workflows.
• Develop and integrateAI solutions across the credit lifecycle, includingorigination, underwriting, limit setting, portfolio monitoring, and model validation.
• You will developevaluation and guardrail frameworks to ensure response accuracy, reduce hallucinations, and supporthuman-in-the-loop review, including offline testing with ground‑truth datasets.
• You will develop and operateenterprise-grade AI services with a focus onscalability, security, reliability, performance, and latency optimization.
• You will implementLLMOps and GenAI operational practices, including prompt management, model versioning, monitoring, CI/CD pipelines, and observability for cost, latency, and response quality.
• You will partner withanalytics, engineering, and product teams to embed AI into existing platforms and deliver new AI‑driven capabilities across the organization.
• You will evaluate and adoptmodern orchestration frameworks and cloud-native AI tools (such as LangGraph and AWS-based services), while staying current with new AI system design patterns.

• Master's degree inComputer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or AI engineering, to build and operateproduction-grade AI, ML, or Generative AI systems.
• Domain experience in financial services, with exposure to credit, lending, risk, or analytics-driven decisioning environments.
• Experience working inregulated or governed environments, with understanding ofdata governance, model risk management, regulatory compliance, and responsible AI practices.
• Hands-on experience developingGenerative AI and LLM-based applications, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), prompt design, evaluation methods, and system optimization inproduction environments.
• Proficiency inPython (required) andSQL
• Familiarity withmodern Generative AI frameworks
• You will report to theSenior Director, Data Modeling.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education. You will be also eligible for a variable pay opportunity.
