Android Engineer

As an Android Software Engineer, you will work on the end‑to‑end development of Android applications, contributing across the full application lifecycle from design through production. You will build scalable and maintainable solutions using modern Android architectures, Kotlin, and Jetpack components, and integrate with RESTful APIs and shared services. You will collaborate with engineering teams on API contracts, code quality, and platform improvements, contributing to large‑scale codebases and technical projects. You will report to the Software Engineering Manager.

What you'll be doing:

• Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of projects with increasing complexity, fromtechnical design throughimplementation, testing, deployment, and production release.
• Participate across the full application lifecycle, includingconcept definition,system design,development,integration, andmaintenance.
• Develop clean and maintainable code by applyingcoding standards,best practices, andformal code review processes.
• DesignAPI contracts, ensuringdocumentation andcross‑team technical agreement.
• Designscalable and extensible architectures that supportfuture functional and system growth.
• Contribute tocross‑team engineering projects, includingCI/CD pipelines,build systems,code review tooling, andmonitoring infrastructure.

• Bachelor's degree inComputer Science or arelated technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in Android application development with command of theAndroid framework.
• Experience implementingMVVM architecture in Android applications.
• Proficiency inKotlin for new development, with working knowledge ofJava.
• Hands-on experience withJetpack components, includingCompose,Navigation, andUI transitions.
• Experience consumingRESTful APIs, includingAPI mocking,end-to-end coverage, andunit testing.
• Familiarity withthird‑party libraries such asRxJava,Dagger, andRetrofit.
• Experience withoffline storage,background processing,threading,performance optimization, andlarge-scale codebases.
